ORANGE – A college student carrying two airsoft rifles for a schoold drama production prompted a nearly three-hour search of Santiago Canyon College after someone reported seeing a man with a gun near school grounds late Wednesday. The report came just hours after school officials at UCI announced they were looking for a possible gunman dressed in camouflage. Like the Santiago Canyon College incident, the UCI report turned out to be a student with an air rifle.
