I have not allowed television in my house since 1995, except when i briefly got a couple Moscow stations by satellite for my mother-in-law. We get our news from the internet (including great sites like WND), we rent DVDs we pick carefully (yes, we have TV sets, just not television.) Nothing good on TV since the 60's anyway, except maybe 24. And my daughter is just fine socially and consistently ranks in the top of her class in just about everything.
